Seeking answers? You're home now.

Basic on-site support: security, assistance, and first-aid/medical on call.
Yes — our Rann Utsav packages are well-suited for solo travellers, as well as families and couples. You’ll be staying in a secure tent-city environment with fellow festival-goers, and you’ll have the support of the local team managing logistics. Because everything from transfers to accommodation is organised, solo travellers can feel confident. As a tip: book early to secure your preferred tent-category, and let us know any preferences or concerns so we can support you accordingly.
When you book, you’ll choose your preferred category (e.g., non-AC Swiss cottage, deluxe AC tent, etc.). On arrival you’ll be assigned a specific tent based on your category and availability. If you arrive before the official check-in time, early allotment is subject to availability.

For prime nights (e.g., full-moon nights or high demand periods) the higher category tents may fill fastest, so we recommend booking early. If you desire a specific tent location (e.g., closer to the activity area, quieter zone, or facing the salt desert), just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
We recommend booking as soon as you’ve selected your dates — especially if you’re after a specific tent-category or if you’re travelling during high-demand nights (such as full-moon nights). Since there are only so many tents in the tent-city and the festival window is finite each year, early booking gives you the best chance to secure your preferred dates and accommodation. Also, pricing and package offerings may vary by date, so booking early typically gives you more options.
You will stay in the specially-constructed tent-city in Dhordo, adjacent to the Great Rann of Kutch. These are not just basic tents — they span a range of comfort levels (from well-appointed non-AC Swiss cottages to premium AC tents and luxury suites) depending on your selected package.

The setting offers a “no-city-noise” environment where you can actually step out of your tent and gaze at the salt desert under the sky, yet with modern conveniences in your accommodation.
Yes — meals are typically included in your package: breakfast, lunch, dinner and usually high tea. Vegetarian options are standard, and many sites confirm Jain food is available on request.

Cultural shows (folk music, dance, craft demonstrations) are built-into the in-house programme of the tent-city — you can enjoy them as part of your stay, with no extra booking required for standard shows. Additional optional activities (e.g., adventure sports, private experiences) may carry extra charges.
Yes — while we present standard package itineraries (for 1 night/2 days, 2 nights/3 days, 3 nights/4 days, etc.), we are happy to work with you to adapt or extend your stay. Want extra nights, alternate excursions, or private guided tours instead of group ones? Just talk to us. Please note, very bespoke changes (private vehicle, exclusive guided tour, special dinner setups) may carry extra cost. Building flexibility into your trip ensures you can match your comfort level, pace and interests.
That’s absolutely fine. The structured activities (sunset/sunrise visits, cultural shows, craft markets) are included but non-mandatory. If you’d prefer to explore independently, rest in your tent, or just take in the silence of the desert, you’re fully free to do so. You will still be staying with access to the amenities, meals and your accommodation, and you can pick and choose which organised excursions or activities you participate in. (If you opt out of a scheduled transfer or group excursion, you may just need to arrange your own transport for that portion).
The tent-city is located near Dhordo village in Kutch. The most convenient major hub is Bhuj (railway station and airport). From Bhuj to Dhordo is approximately 80-90 km and takes about 1.5-2 hours by road.

If you arrive outside the standard time slots, you may need to arrange private transport (we can assist with that). Once you arrive at the tent-city, everything else will be taken care of as per your itinerary.
